PARK TERRACE

Missing Middle Housing is an urban development strategy which provides responsible density in the form of house-scaled buildings and walkable neighborhoods. Park Terrace features 21 Row Houses and 17 Bluff Homes, built into a sloping site along the Milwaukee River. The 3-story Row Houses front the lower street and the 4-story Bluff Homes front the upper street. A common auto alley nestles between the two housing types, removing all garages, garbage/recycling and utility services from the public way. Thus, both projects are very pedestrian-friendly and good urban street facades.
